Baked honey sriracha salmon
This honey sriracha salmon recipe is everything I love (and need) in a weeknight dinner — lots of flavor with minimal work. Chopping some green onions and cutting the salmon is as complicated as it gets for prep work. The rest is mixing some spices and condiments together, tossing in the salmon, and putting it in the oven. While the salmon is roasting, mix up a super simple sriracha mayo for the sauce and then check the vegetable drawer or the freezer to see what vegetables you have on hand to serve on the side. Dinner. Done.
If you’re looking for more quick and easy dinner recipes, try this one pan creamy salmon and spinach or this roasted halibut with cilantro-lime sauce.
Make it a complete meal
We like this salmon best with some hot cooked rice and a veggie on the side. Roasted broccoli is a great option since the oven is already in use. Cut the broccoli into florets, toss with olive oil, salt and pepper and then roast them on a sheet pan until tender-crisp. Shelled edamame is another great choice. I always keep a bag of edamame in my freezer for quick meals like this one. If you have more time, steamed baby bok choy would be great here too.

Description
These baked honey sriracha salmon bites are easy to prep, don’t require any marinating time, and get roasted in the oven for hands-off, no mess cooking. Top with a two ingredient sauce of mayo and sriracha and serve with some rice and your favorite vegetable for a complete meal.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pounds salmon fillet, skin removed (see Note 1)
- 2–3 green onions, chopped (see Note 2)
- 3 tablespoons sriracha chili sauce
- 3 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
- 3 teaspoons dried parsley
- 2 teaspoons paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Sriracha mayo, for serving (see Note 3)
- Chopped green onions, for serving if desired
Instructions
- Prep. Heat oven to 400 degrees F. Cut salmon into 1 to 1-1/2 inch pieces. Set aside.
- Marinate. In a medium bowl, mix together green onions, sriracha, soy sauce, honey, olive oil, dried parsley, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder. Add salmon pieces and gently mix together until salmon pieces are evenly coated.
- Roast. Line a rimmed baking tray with parchment paper or aluminum foil. Spread the salmon out into a single layer on the baking tray allowing for some space between the pieces. Bake salmon for 10-15 minutes or until cooked through.
- Optional broil. Broil salmon for 3-5 minutes to lightly caramelize the glaze.
- Serve. Serve salmon bites drizzled with sriracha mayo and topped with chopped green onions.
Notes
- Ask the fishmonger where you buy your salmon to remove the skin for you for easier prep. You can also keep the skin on if you prefer.
- You’ll need about 1/2 cup of chopped green onions.
- Mix 1 part sriracha to 2 parts of mayonnaise. Add more sriracha if you want something spicier. Add more mayonnaise if you want something less spicy.
